Restrictions to start being lifted in Scotland
Garden centres will be allowed to reopen in Scotland from next week under the first phase of restrictions being eased.
Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced today that garden centres and recycling facilities will allowed to reopen, and outdoor activities such as golf, fishing, tennis and bowls will be permitted again from May 28. Outdoor work such as agriculture and forestry will also be allowed to recommence.
However, other retail outlets will have to remain shut until a later phase of the restriction easing.
