AEA releases tractor registrations for November 2020
The Agricultural Engineering Association (AEA) has released its tractor registration figures for November 2020.
UK registrations of agricultural tractors moved back above last year’s level and close to the seasonal average in November.
At 638 machines, the monthly total was up by 22%, with more than 100 extra tractors registered this year.
This means that registrations are up 5% year on year over the last four months, although the total for the year to date is still nearly 20% lower than in the equivalent period last year, following the sharp decline in the spring.
UK Agricultural Tractor Registrations – November 2020
Month : 638 Units +22.2% change (compared with November 2019)
Year to Date: 9,179 Units -19.6% change (compared with January-November 2019)
Note: From the start of 2020, we have revised the methodology for calculating tractor registrations, which has resulted in a small reduction in the number of machines included in the figures. Revised monthly figures for 2019 on the same basis as the 2020 numbers are available on the AEA website (https://aea.uk.com/industry-insight/tractor-statistics/).
