Mental Health Awareness Week returns from 11th – 17th May 2026. This years theme is ‘action’ – while awareness is vital, real change comes when
we take action too.

During this time, the Mental Health Foundation are asking people to join them in taking action to support good mental health – we all deserve it.

So whether you’re taking action for yourself, for someone else or for all of us, small changes can help us feel hopeful and less powerless.

The mentalhealth.org.uk website contains lots of useful information and resources about a wide range of mental health problems, all free to download and read.

And if you’re looking to get involved in Mental Health Awareness Week by hosting an event, or simply sharing details to show your support, you can find logos, posters and social media assets. Here you will also find some tipsheets – featuring quick-wins to longer-term lifestyle shifts to give you the tools to take action to support your mental health. Why not display these in communal areas – you never know who you may be able to help.

If you need support, there are a number of helplines available, with dedicated advice and help for those working in the agricultural and groundcare community. Please do reach out to any of the following, or BAGMA, if you require assistance.
