New EV Training – OHEV and EOPE Safety Course

We recently launched a new one-day safety course – Off Highway Electric Vehicles (OHEV) & Electric Outdoor Power Equipment (EOPE).

Specifically for technicians, service engineers, and maintenance staff who work on or around electrically powered off-road machinery such as electric tractors, UTVs, mowers, and telehandlers.

Key Topics Covered
• Identifying hazards in electric and hybrid off‑highway machinery.
• Safe isolation procedures using Lock-Out/Tag‑Out (LOTO) techniques.
• Handling, storing, and transporting batteries safely and in compliance with transportation regulations.
• Understanding relevant UK legislation, including the Electricity at Work Regulations and PUWER.
• Risk assessment, emergency procedures, and PPE requirements.
