Even Trainers need a refresh on how training is delivered and BAGMA trainers are no different.. Recently some of the BAGMA trainers visited Kubota who kindly hosted our training event. Ian Mitchell lead the team in discussing how training is delivered, keeping up with legislative changes, training methods and updates, focusing on preparation and planning.

Firstly, everyone introduced themselves and gave a bit about their background and experience. The morning session was classroom based reviewing training materials and going through the importance of the BAGMA installation 20-Point Checklist and installation training manual.

The afternoon session, which was both practical and theoretical, saw the trainers carrying out an installation using the BAGMA installation report form using the 20-Point Checklist. Trainers then as a group and under supervision carried out an installation to demonstrate the use of the operators handbook.

Despite the huge number of years combined by the trainers, on going reflection of delivery techniques and keeping apprised of legislative changes are key to the continued first class service offered by our BAGMA trainers to our industry.
Our very own Kari Hearn was on hand to help out, having been in charge of all things BAGMA Training for a number of years.
“You can not underestimate the importance of our trainers getting together sharing knowledge and information around the latest training techniques and delivery methods, not to mention keeping up with legislation.”
Kari Hearn, BAGMA Training and Administration Manager
