Located on Avenue F, at this year’s Royal Welsh Show with a 50% larger stand than in previous years, Merlo showcases a diverse array of machines from both its agricultural and construction ranges, each boasting unique features while being designed with comfort, safety, and sustainability in mind.
Machines at the Royal Welsh Show this year include a wide cross section of agricultural and construction models from their innovative telehandler range, encompassing the all electric E-Worker; the range topping rotating ROTO; and Merlo’s versatile and adaptable tracked carrier, the Cingo.
Indispensable on any farm, visitors can expect to see five compact and medium-capacity models from the Turbofarmer range with a variety of attachments from the Merlo Tremme range displayed on the stand. This includes three compact models: TF27.6 (2.7 tonne, 6m), the recently launched 2m wide, TF30.7 (3.0 tonne, 7m), and a firm favourite amongst Welsh farms, the ever capable TF33.7 (3.3 tonne, 7m).

Merlo’s medium-capacity agricultural telehandlers provide greater power and capacity than the compact models above, and there will be two on the Merlo stand at the show. The TF35.7CS (3.5tonne, 7m) with cab suspension is equipped with a hydraulic push-off buckrake from Cherry Products, and the TF42.7 (4.2 tonne, 7m) is combined with the ever-popular Merlo Tremme muck fork and grab. The powerful TF42.7 features a Stage V 136hp engine with a responsive load-sensing 139 l/min hydraulic pump, ideal for more demanding tasks such as clamping silage and general duties around the farm.
It is worth noting that for a limited time, all Merlo agricultural telehandlers purchased and registered before 30th July, 2024 come with two free attachments from the genuine Merlo Tremme range, namely a bucket and a muck fork and grab. Full details are available from your local authorised Merlo dealer and, of course, from the Merlo team at the Royal Welsh Show.
Also on display and maintaining the sustainability theme is Merlo’s generation zero telehandler, the 100% electric e-Worker, the EW25.5 has a 2.5 tonne capacity, 5m max lift height and boasts an 8-hour run time.

Probably better known, in the world of construction, Merlo will showcase the rotating, ROTO 50.30SPLUS, with stage V 170 hp engine, 5 tonne capacity and max lift height of up to 30m. Rotating models offer a greater range of movement than a fixed telehandler with its rotating turret and multi-stage boom. The S PLUS model has dual hydraulic load sensing pumps, a hydraulic tilting cab for maximum operator comfort while working and automatic management of the multi-position stabilisers as standard to ensure greater safety, comfort and unparalleled efficiency.
Completing the Merlo line-up at this year’s event will be the innovative Cingo tracked carriers. There will be two models on display: the smaller M500DM measuring only 690mm wide with 500kg load capacity and a hydraulic tipping body, powered by a 5.5hp Honda petrol engine. The M700TD, offering excellent stability when tipping into skips and trailers, measures 750mm wide, ideal for passing through doorways, has a 700kg capacity, and is powered by a 12hp Honda petrol engine. The Hi-Tip M700TD model also comes as standard with a vibration-proof footplate, allowing the operator to ride rather than walk when operating this model.
